IUST became a member of the UASR
Iran University of Science and Technology became an official member of the University Alliance of the Silk Road.
According to the UASR statute the members are considered as an observer for one year following their request for membership. After this period and the coordination made by the Vice Chancellery for International Affairs at IUST, the university became an official member of UASR on Nov. 17, 2021.
The UASR is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, aimed at international cooperation in higher education. The Alliance was founded on 2015 by Xi’an Jiaotong University of China and nearly 151 universities form 38 countries and regions are its members.
