 The School of Chemical Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology will be one of the leading Schools in chemical engineering and the related fields nationwide and in the Middle East for graduate and undergraduate students and faculty who value excellence in teaching, learning, research, creation of new knowledge, creative activity, and technology and industrial cooperation as well as service to one's community.

 The school prepares undergraduate chemical engineers with a strong fundamental scientific and technical knowledge base and critical thinking skills who are acquainted with all related fields of chemical engineering and are life-long learners well able to design, analyze and serve industrial demands in chemical engineering systems and processes. The school also prepares graduate chemical engineers at MSc and PhD levels in six important fields of Process Design and Simulation, Separation Technology, Thermodynamics, Kinetics, Mineral Technology and Biotechnology as independent researchers with leadership skills who are contributors to knowledge and service in an ever-changing world.
