of Advanced Manufacturing
and Services Systems'
mission is two-fold: strategic objectives and
overall goals.
Overall Goals:
This centre has been founded on the basis of
creating a platform for enhancing available
resources and potentials towards meeting the fifth
expansion goal program in the areas of science,
research and technology. The centre also aims to
obviate current threats against the centre's
software and hardware programs. Students are
encouraged at the center to engage in creative and
foundational research for a better tomorrow.
Strategic Objectives
The centre's short term strategic goals include: · To improve the
nation's infrastructure, to compete with current
advanced technology. · To enhance
research centers, so they can introduce advanced
products to global and international communities . · To prevent the
"fleeing of minds" phenomena, and provide suitable
opportunities for research, invention and creation . · To help
establish postdoctoral programs in an effort to help
new scholars gain a competitive edge in their fields. · To introduce
research and academic programs in connection with
national and international centers, in an effort to
expand the frontiers of knowledge, and discover new
and innovative areas of study. · To help
establish scientific partnerships with various
international research centers. · To help faculty
members improve their performance in areas that are
strategic priorities for colleges. · To help train
the country's top researchers . · To help direct
research towards reaching the predetermined goals
and accomplishments . · To expand
international communications, and to attract Iranian
researchers and scientists who reside inside and
outside of Iran for designing joint research
projects . · To publish
academic and research papers to increase the
nation's knowledge production. · To create
various software aimed towards meeting national and
international needs. · To increase
advanced learning courses and workshops in advance
production systems within the region.
