The recent Elsevier ranking of world's Top 2% most-cited researchers includes 65 scholars from IUST
In the latest ranking released in October 2023, 65 scholars from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) have been recognized as being in the top 2% of the most cited scientists in 2022, out of 210,198 researchers worldwide, (including 2138 researchers from various universities and research institutions in Iran). The classification of scientists is based on 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields, as per the standard Science-Metrix classification system. Career-long data are updated until the end of 2022, and single recent year data pertain to citations received during calendar year 2022.
The lists of career-long and single-year citation data of IUST Top 2% most-cited researchers are as follows:
