Overview

Welcome to the University Computing Center (UCC).
Being founded in 1970 within the hierarchy of Research and Technology division, IUST Computing Center initiated its activity by implementing CDC computers and in 1972 broadened its scope by buying IBM computers. UCC is now comprised of several offices that together provide network and computing technology service and support to IUST community and strive to bring quality and relevant technology services and is equipped with a variety and collection of hi-tech servers and workstations distributed around the campus.
The vast majority of UCC’s work involves the organization and execution of technology projects. These projects each have a tie into the information technology and strategic plans that the university is dedicated to. It is UCC’s responsibility to operate the campus network and Internet working equipment and related services. Internet facilities are planned and installed to enhance the academic quality of the educational, research and administrative work in the university. Students and staff can contact UCC for their IT related needs and problems.
