2nd Professional education conference for the Measurement of hydrocarbons(Metering) will be hosted by the University of Science and Technology on 4&5 March 2015
 Second Conference for the Measurement of hydrocarbons(Metering) in the oil, gas, product refining and petrochemical will be hosted by the University of Science and Technology on 4&5 March 2015.The conference goal would be to identify and develop capacity of metering Knowledge in Iran to solve problems, achieving knowledge of design and manufacture of measurement and calibration systems. Moreover The conference aims will be to identify existing country capacity in the Metering, trying to learn the practical and theoretical issues related to Metering, efforts to introduce the importance of  Metering  in the country and the need for more companies and research centers attention for metering, Observation of new Metering technologies and introducing them to local companies , access to the knowledge of planning and building Metering system needed for the country, trying to play a more effective role in national (IPS, IGS) and international (IP, ISO, AGA, API) standards according to the specific conditions in the region and identify potential research centers and universities in the country in order to solve the metering  standards problems.
Conference topics include Metering variety of technology (quantitative measure),national and international standards for the measurement of , oil, gas and petroleum products, the meter Proving and calibration types of them in the oil industry, repair and maintenance  of equipment for metering stations, new technologies in the quantitative measurement of oil, gas and Rights measurement.
