Appreciation Ceremony Honoring Top IUST Students

 On November 12, 2012 a ceremony was held in honor of the top 2011 IUST students in the Shahid Bahrami Amphitheatre.

 The university chancellor Dr. Jabal Ameli spoke at this ceremony, which took place with the efforts of the vice chancellery of education, public relations, top students and their families. He began with praising the students, their families, university committees, university council, vice chancelleries, colleges and departments for their presence in the ceremony, and expressed, “This ceremony is symbolic. We hold first place in the country’s technological field. In addition to the eight excellence centers active in six key IUST schools that focus on the country’s critical scientific activities, seven national research projects have been handed to IUST. We owe such success to the efforts of IUST’s prior and current leaders, professors, and students.”

 Dr. Shafia, top Industrial Engineering professor, also spoke at this ceremony with a speech entitled “Professional Success of the Elite”, following Dr. Farrokh Hojjat Kashani, top Electrical Engineering professor, who compared the previous space and education opportunities to the current opportunities available at the universities. The ceremony ended with media presentations introducing top students.

 A total of 460 students (406 academic excellence and 54 research excellence) were chosen as the university’s top 2011 students.
