Control of multilevel inverter by fuzzy sliding method for active power filter application

Control method has an important role in the performance of active power filter. In this paper a new circuit is proposed as a multilevel inverter which is suitable for operating with sliding mode controller. The sliding and fuzzy sliding mode controllers are adapted for multilevel inverter applied in an active power filter. stability of the filter is guaranteed. Simulation and experimental results confirm robust response and good performance.
