Force calculation of tubular linear induction motor with blicked rotor

This paper is concerned with the calculation of longitudinal force applied to the rotor in tubular linear induction motors with blocked rotor in the assignable respective position of rotor and stator. The motor is a traveling-wave generator-driven type. This work is based on calculation of self inductances of a link and a coil, mutual inductance and mutual inductance gradient of coaxial coils, with current filament method, assumption of the rotor constituted of some rings, and current calculation of stator coils and rotor rings with respect to time.
