IUST International research achievement

  According to the world report of Simago in 2010, indicating the research operation of 2833 governmental and non-governmental universities and research institutes according to the quantity and quality of research papers registered in SCOPUS throughout 2004-2008, Iran University of Science and Technology with 2634 research papers in reputable world journals has achieved 5^th rank among 37 superior universities nationwide.

  Accordingly, the top 10 universities are University of Tehran, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tarbiat Modares University, Iran University of Science and Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Shiraz University, Isfahan University of Technology, Shahid Beheshti University, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

  The report indicates that more than 22.7 percent of IUST papers are published in the most reputable scientific journals and 14.5 percent of the papers are produced under international cooperation and partnership.
