Undergraduate Student from School of Chemical Engineering wins gold medal in "2010 Korea Cyber International Genius inventor Fair- CIGIF 2010", South Korea

  A B.Sc. student of Chemical Engineering at IUST, Danial Abuali, won the gold medal in the "2010 Korea Cyber International Genius inventor Fair- CIGIF 2010".

  He has patented his invention "the special cylinder for transmission of fuel from the reservoir to automobile fuel tank and vice versa" in Iran in July 2009 before presenting it to the above international fair.

  Abuali says about his invention: "This cylinder is used when the automobile is out of fuel far away from a gas station. In common methods, fuel transmission from tank to tank or from a reservoir to tank is nonstandard and causes waste of time and energy. So I have designed a simple mean composed of two supported hose and a reservoir that works according to the pressure principle in liquids. The apparatuses installed in the car trunk is very simple, applicable and cheap", he added "This apparatuses is a safe and reliable mean for fuel transmission and is capable for reverse action (ie. transmission of fuel from tank outside).
